In a pioneering step to strengthen national protection standards, the Council of Ministers, during its session chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, approved the National Physical Security and Safety Framework.

The framework aims to unify policies and procedures related to the protection of critical facilities and infrastructure, while ensuring the implementation of the highest public safety standards to mitigate physical risks and safeguard national assets and achievements.

This decision was made based on a recommendation submitted by the Council of Political and Security Affairs and following a review of the recommendations prepared by the Experts Commission at the Council of Ministers.
